I've played an HD video file on a USB3 stick plugged into this "hub" while the Ethernet was receiving ~20 MB/s of data with AI workload.
Works great!!! My laptop only came with 3 USB type c ports. I used my type C dongle that came with my machine to connect. Plus I now have 3 type A ports aswell.
Bought a new laptop with no Ethernet port. With wireless I was only getting 500 mbps. Connected this from my router to the PC and got almost 1,000 mbps.
Does exactly what it claims. No problem whatever when used to connect my Linux desktop via a piece of Cat6 at a friend's house.
