In work from home situation, there are times when we have to use both personal and office laptop for the work. I bought the monitor to have the single screen for both but the issue to use common mouse and keyboard. KVM switch made that very easy with quick set up.
Easy peasy and works every time; every day. Can't go wrong. Pretty solid switch at an excellent price point.
It is an excellent switch at a great price. Works perfectly and it's been a while since I bought it! Never an issue.
I actually see both laptop and desktop primary monitors all the time, and switch the 27" HDMI secondary, keyboard and mouse depending on where I am working.
